On behalf of the New Jersey Italian Heritage Commission (NJIHC), you are cordially invited to attend our Annual Congress, to be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Rutgers University College Avenue Student Center.

This year’s theme, “Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of American Independence: The Italian Influence & Legacy,” will explore the profound and enduring contributions of Italian and Italian American individuals to the founding and development of the United States. The program will also include a special recognition of the Commission’s anniversary, marking its continued commitment to education and cultural preservation.

The Congress will convene distinguished leaders from government, education, and cultural institutions for a morning of dialogue, education, and recognition.
